The product, distributed exclusively by GRIPdigital, offers manufacturers, print buyers, printers and their trade suppliers the ability to measure, record and report dot percentages, screen rulings, and screen angles with one convenient, hand-held device. The Centurfax CCDot3 DotMeter is the latest addition to the popular product line offered by GRIPdigital.

The CCDot3 DotMeter is an ingenious device which uses a highly sensitive CCD scanning array to accurately count individual pixels on film, proofs, lithographic plates, or printed press sheets. Unlike conventional densitometers, the CCDot3 DotMeter provides users with the ability to accurately capture dot images without the need for calibration, referencing, zeroing or tolerancing. Results may be captured and either read directly, or transmitted to any Mac, PC, or DecAlpha for insertion into a report or spreadsheet, or communicated directly to a RIP for calibration purposes. Transmission of captured dot image details via .TIFF imaging permits immediate Email supplier support via the Internet.
